 FOOTBALL IS FOOTBALL (3) FOOTBALL IN CAMBRE Those ones that somehow , and sometime , were part of that network which is the basic football situated at both sides of the Burgo Estuary , know well the rivalry and passion which there were in the existing football championships . In this respect Councils of Cambre and Culleredo always were a referent in the organisation of championships to revitalize the interest for this sport in school children.
Atlético San Pedro, Hércules de San Pedro , Sporting Cambre, Once Caballeros , Mare Nostrum , Brexo Lema, Troula .... They are
legend clubs in the educational football
work for school age
children at this area
. They were , definitely ,the
football forge of many of the youngsters of the zone. Many of them could start to find
, in these humble
competitions, the value of struggle in group to achieve an award , or to win/lose playing fair . Here I leave you some interesting

Aqueles que dalgún xeito , e nalgún momento , fumos parte dese mundo e dese entramado que é o fútbol base situado a ambas veiras da Ría do
Burgo ,coñecemos ben a rivalidade e a paixón con que se desenvolvían e desenvolven as competicións futbolísticas alí existentes .
Nese aspecto
os Concellos de Cambre e Culleredo sempre foron un referente
na organización de trofeos para
dinamizar o interés por
ese futbol base .

Aí temos a clubes de lenda no traballo formativo de nenos en idade escolar nesta zona . Foron , sen dúbida , a forxa educativo -futbolística de moitos dos rapaces da zona. Moitos deles puideron empezar a atopar , nestas humildes competicións, o valor de loitar en grupo para conseguir as cousas , ou a gañar e a perder xogando limpo .

With this blog you can have a look at some e-Twinning projects of CEIP GRAXAL in CAMBRE ( Northwest-Spain) which supposed for this school an interesting and attractive way to learn English , crossing the diverse contents located in other curriculum subjects . Thus you could add the advantages of intercultural education to the benefits of improving language skills .Moreover you can find another activities related to English learning in CEIP GRAXAL , for example, a Language Immersion Course , or practical tips for ICT in learning activities .
But that´s not all what it offers. You can find here : newspapers , magazines, games , weather forecast , songs ....or some video clips in which our pupils speak about migratory birds of O Burgo Estuary or explain part of the History of O Burgo Bridge.
