With this blog you can have a look at some e-Twinning projects of CEIP GRAXAL in CAMBRE ( Northwest-Spain) which supposed for this school an interesting and attractive way to learn English , crossing the diverse contents located in other curriculum subjects . Thus you could add the advantages of intercultural education to the benefits of improving language skills .Moreover you can find another activities related to English learning in CEIP GRAXAL , for example, a Language Immersion Course , or practical tips for ICT in learning activities .

But that´s not all what it offers. You can find here : newspapers , magazines, games , weather forecast , songs ....or some video clips in which our pupils speak about migratory birds of O Burgo Estuary or explain part of the History of O Burgo Bridge.
Of course , in this introduction I want to thank all those people from around the world that are visiting this blog . I hope you find it interesting .

Neste blog exponse unha visión retrospectiva dos proxectos eTwinning do CEIP GRAXAL de CAMBRE , vista por cursos e temas , e tamén , outras interesantes experiencias relativas ao ensino do inglés deste centro educativo , entre elas , o seu carácter pioneiro , a nivel galego , dos cursos de Inmersión Lingüística .

En definitiva , de todo un pouco ,vertebrado sobre 6 eixos que son : educación , eTwinning , inglés , cultura , Cambre e CEIP GRAXAL.

Nesta introdución , ademais , quero agradecer o interés amosado polos visitantes que desde diversas partes do mundo achéganse a este Blog e, especialmente , polos procedentes da comunidade educativa do CEIP GRAXAL DE CAMBRE pola súa fidelidade e constancia . Comunidade esta , que sempre estivo moi atenta e receptiva ás innovacións pedagóxicas .

Traditions are incredibly surprising .

We eat grapes in synchronized way with the strokes of the clock at New Year’s Eve . That´s interesting ... But in Cyprus , the first day of the year , the landlord or landlady throw a pomegranate into their house when they enter home . We had a very funny lesson when we spoke about these issues .
Reading about important goalkeepers in Poland or just about Kubica ,the racing car driver, was simply great.

But …. writing about Regattas of “traineras” in Galicia or about our team Deportivo de A Coruña was really fantastic.

Comparar tradicións de diferentes paises é algo que sempre te sorprende e enriquece .

Pero escribir sobre xogos e deportes que nos gustan é francamente divertido.
